Handicaps:
Ladies & Super Seniors (80+) Front Tees Senior (65+) One Tee Box Back All Others Two Tee Boxes Back
Mulligans: Any player who purchases a raffle ticket will have 1 mulligan for the nine holes and may be used for any shot or putt, except for contests
Points for Par 3's - One point is awarded to each player whose tee shot on a par 3 is on the green. Mark a "G" by the players name on the scorecard. The player who is closest to the hole for all teams that participated is awarded one additional point.
Longest Putt - on a designated hole - each player on the team winning the longest putt will receive 2 points
Rules of Play:
- Handicap determines which tee box a player starts hole from.
- Winter rules apply, players get a 1 club length lie no closer to the hole, any shot outside the greens.
- If the ball is an unplayable lie, you cannot move it to a playable lie.
- You cannot play a ball that is out of bounds.
- If you choose to play a ball in a trap, you cannot move it out of the trap.
- If you choose to play a ball in a water hazard, you cannot move it out of the water hazard.
- If you choose to play a ball in any other hazard, you cannot move it out of the hazard.
- Every shot must be played, no gimmies on the greens.
- Extra shot - Teams that are short players, compared to the rest of the field, will decide the rotation on the first tee shot and must keep the same rotation for the round. A player will have the extra shot for the entire hole. Cannot be used to compete for Greenie, Closet to Pin, but can be used for Longest Putt.Teams with an Extra Shot do have an Extra Shot Mulligan to be taken by the player with the extra shot.
- Players that show up after play has began, will join their respective team and play the remaining holes left.
Earning Points
- 1st place of Round, each Team member receives 5 points
- 2nd place of Round, each Team member receives 4 points
- 3rd place of Round, each Team member receives 3 points
- 4th place of Round, each Team member receives 2 points
- All others playing in Round receive 1 point.
- Everyone is guaranteed at least 1 point for playing.
- Skill shot winners are awarded 1 additional point (Closest to the pin).
- New - Longest putt on 9th or 18th hole, 2 points per player by team decision
- In case of a place tie within each Round, all teams/players will receive full place points
Prizes
Weekly Round
- Closest to the pin will win a prize each week.
- Prizes will vary from week to week.
End of Season
- The member with most points will be declared the League Champion.
- League Champion
- Earns privilege to keep the Coveted Cup in their possession for entire year.
- Awarded cash, determined from number of players in league.
- Awarded the League Champion Trophy.
Points
League Play
- Played every week on Tuesday 5:30 pm at a course that will be announced.
- Players need to check in by 5:00 so we can draw teams.
- Each round is most likely played on the front 9 (we'll try to get some rounds on the back 9)
- Shot-gun start if we maintain a 50 player field, guaranteed for 1st two tournaments.
- Cost varies for each course, includes cart.
- Format will be a 4 person scramble, unless posted prior to sign up.
- Players are entered in the computer and the computer picks the teams. If the computer is not available, players are drawn from hat to form 4 member teams.
- All members of a Team earn points according to the Team's placing.
